Julie Stirpe founded JSA Psychotherapy Ltd in 2005 and has built the practice to it’s current strength with centres in Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside. Julie offers over 25 years experience as a Psychotherapist with academic and professional qualifications to work with children, young people, adults and families.
Julie is a respected Expert Witness to the Family Justice System compiling assessments, reports and oral evidence in Public and Private Family Law matters. Julie has been assisting the Courts in their decision making for over 15 years. Julie has a wealth of professional and clinical experience to offer our clients and to support the practitioner team here at JSA Psychotherapy.
Julie’s specialist area of Psychotherapy is the assessment and treatment of developmental trauma in children and young people. Julie also specialises in the assessment and treatment of adult’s suffering from chronic or acute trauma and PTSD.
Julie has a life long passion for horses and dogs and is a keen equestrian and dressage enthusiast; over the years, she has developed Animal and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy programmes for children and adults to share the joy of emotional regulation offered by our Equine and Canine Therapists!
Julie is dedicated to serve those who suffer from life trauma and adverse events, believing that psychological healing liberates and regenerates lives!
