Coaching specialist
Helen works with professionals, business owners and their staff. Her speciality is coaching on wellbeing issues, stress-management, conflict in relationships, conflict resolution and creativity. She is also a mindfulness teacher with a particular focus on mindfulness for stress reduction.
Formerly a solicitor, barrister and then for ten years a District Judge in the Family Court, Helen retrained gaining a Diploma in Personal Development and a PgCert in Psychosynthesis and Leadership Coaching on top of her law degree and M.Phil in Criminology. As a former family law practitioner, she now offers supervision to family lawyers. That experience makes her particularly skilled in coaching anyone rebuilding their life after separation or divorce. She brings twenty five years of experience dealing with fractured relationships to her conflict coaching and conflict resolution work.
She is also an experienced and entertaining conference speaker and seminar leader, available for inhouse training. Helen is an internationally exhibited, graffiti-inspired textile artist, author of several books and holds an MA in Writing Studies. She enjoys bringing her creativity into her coaching and coaching individuals who either have a creative passion project or who need to think more creatively about their life or business.
She loves to travel, reads voraciously, bakes cakes (and eats them) and has been known to do kids’ face-painting from time to time.
